Short-cut roving is manufactured from twisted, untwisted coarse yarn, suitable for use with unsaturated polyester resins and vinyl esters. It is employed in processes such as chopped strand moulding and continuous laminate production, meeting the requirements for manufacturing conventional chopped strand mats, needle-punched composite fabrics, continuous laminates, automotive headliners, and vehicle body panels.
